THE ICONIC ERICSSON GLOBE IS NOW THE AVICII ARENA

Stockholm’s beloved venue and host to the biggest stars in the show business, Ericsson Globe, has been renamed to become the Avicii Arena.

It has been three years since the passing of Swedish producer Avicii and tributes to honor the late international dance music star continues to roll in. Riding the heels of the news that a biography on his life will be arriving in the coming months, the iconic globe venue in Stockholm, Sweden formerly known as the Ericsson Globe, unveiled the details that effective today it will be called the Avicii Arena.

In celebration of the renaming, The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra has recorded a symphonic version of the Avicii song "For A Better Day", sung by 14-year-old Ella. #ForABetterDay
